Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 April 2026

Tetsoma (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how we use it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are — in plain English.

If you have questions, email us at hello@tetsoma.co.uk.

1. Who we are

Tetsoma is an AI-powered property intelligence tool that helps buyers understand risks in property listings before they commit. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Tetsoma is the data controller for information collected through this website.

Contact: hello@tetsoma.co.uk

2. What we collect

When you join the Tetsoma waitlist, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your buyer type (e.g. first-time buyer, home mover, buy-to-let investor, second home buyer) — selected by you

We do not collect payment information, identification documents, or any sensitive personal data through this website.

3. Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We collect your information solely to send you updates about Tetsoma’s early access launch and product news.

Our lawful basis for processing your data is consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). By submitting the waitlist form, you are giving us your explicit consent to contact you about Tetsoma. You can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing from any email we send you, or by contacting us directly.

4. How long we keep your data

We will retain your data for as long as you remain on our mailing list. Specifically:

  • If you unsubscribe — your data is deleted from our mailing list within 30 days of your request.
  • If you remain subscribed but inactive — we will delete your data after 24 months of inactivity (i.e. if you have not opened or clicked any email in that period).

5. Who we share your data with

We use the following third-party service to manage our mailing list:

Loops.so

Email marketing and contact management. Your name, email address, and buyer type are stored in Loops.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with any other third parties except as required by law.

6. International data transfers

Loops.so is a US-based company, which means your personal data is transferred to and stored in the United States.

This transfer is lawful under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (UK-US Data Bridge), which came into effect in October 2023. The UK-US Data Bridge allows personal data to flow from the UK to certified US organisations without requiring additional safeguards. Loops.so participates in the Data Privacy Framework programme.

You can verify any organisation’s certification status at dataprivacyframework.gov.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@tetsoma.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functionality and anonymous analytics (e.g. pages visited, device type). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. We will notify waitlist subscribers by email if we make material changes.
